Aries and Rose met by chance and chose each other by design.

Rose grew up in the English countryside — a quiet, creative woman with an instinct for beauty that other people could only describe after the fact. She could walk into a bare room and know immediately where the light should fall, which texture belonged on the walls, how the furniture needed to breathe to make a space feel like home rather than just shelter. She was an artist before she ever called herself one. She painted, she arranged, she layered — and every home she touched became a place people never wanted to leave.

Aries was a city man. Bold, driven, restless — full of ideas that needed somewhere to land. He had built things professionally but had never quite built a life that felt like his own. He was searching for the thing that would make him feel settled without making him feel small.

They found each other in 2023. They were opposites in the most useful way — his fire, her grace. His boldness, her beauty. His direction, her soul. They fell in love with the particular certainty of people who have been looking for something their whole lives and finally recognise it when it arrives.

In 2025 they built their first home together. Not bought — built. Every lamp was chosen by Rose's eye for how it cast warmth rather than just light. Every outdoor chair was positioned for where the late afternoon sun fell longest. Every pillow was selected for how it felt at 3am when you reach for it half-asleep. They documented everything — the sourcing, the decisions, the way a room transforms when comfort is treated as a non-negotiable rather than an afterthought.

Friends kept asking. "Where did you get that lamp?" "What is that pillow?" "Can you help us find something like it?"

They realised they had been building a brand without knowing it.
